springtime

Ah the spring time just makes me so happy. Whether it is sunny or it is rainy, spring is lovely. I got an iPhone this last Monday (not even a full week from this second) and I've already taken 131 pictures. At least it'll help me remember all my fun times these last few weeks. Here are a few pictures from the last week. Love y'all!

PS--everyone take your zinc and vitamin c... I got the flu for the third time since January this week and I was not pleased. Stay healthy!

my dad

I realized that in the short lifetime of this blog, I have dedicated blog posts to both my mom and my sister, but have neglected my dad completely. Rude, right? With it being his birthday today, I decided that I'd give him a sweet little shout-out to show him how much I absolutely adore him. Joe Rich is the kindest, most decent man that I know. He is funny, even though I don't like to tell him that because he thinks he is a lot funnier than he actually is, but he makes me laugh all the time. No matter the time, he is just a phone call away. When I first got sick up here in Logan, he texted me all day long and it felt like he was right there next to me. Our family probably takes too much advantage of how close his work is to our house, but growing up, I never once doubted that he would be there when I called him. I am so so grateful to have such a great dad to look up to as an example. I don't think I can say enough how lucky I am. I love my dad a whole lot. Happy birthday, Dad.

so close!

Eek the end is drawing near. My mood is the same as it was last year around this time. I'm conflicted!-- in my mind, the end of the semester couldn't come faster, but at the same time, I don't want the year to end. I feel like I've just gotten into the swing of things with friends and all that Logan has to offer. I'm having so much fun and I don't want it to end quite yet. So, that's where I'm at.

Life is beautiful up here in Logan. School is hard, but I guess that isn't news to anyone. Luckily though, English class finals are a little bit different than the average final. In two of my classes I don't even have a final and in the other three, I have kept up enough so that I shouldn't have to kill myself studying. Other than that, I'm having fun with the sunshine and warmth that spring brings.

Here are a few pictures from the last couple weeks
