all things hunger games

Oh gosh. I sure love the Hunger Games. In case me seeing 3 times in a weekend isn't enough to relay that message, I just wanted to get it into writing. I can't wait until November 22nd 2013 when I get to wait in the midnight premiere line again :)

DC babyyy

This last week, Candace and I traveled to Washington D.C. to watch our cousins Charlie, Henry and Savannah. They are the sweetest little guys. Since we don't get to see them very often because of how far away they live, it was so fun getting to know them better. On top of spending time with them, Candy and I got to tour around D.C. with Savannah while the boys were at school. We went to Georgetown, the Natural History Museum, and walked around all the monuments. I was pretty proud of us... navigating all of the freeways and main roads is not an easy task but somehow we did it! It was such a fun week and I am grateful that we were able to go out there. One thing I took out of the trip though? I am probbbbably going to wait a few years until I have kids :)

Here are some pictures of our fun adventures.

Just dancin' with us while we were packing our clothes getting ready to come home.
Megan had presents ready for the kids for everyday she was gone and one of the presents were these sweet window makers. To say that they were a hit with them would be an understatement. They loved them! Lucky for the Rich home, now all of the windows are awesome murals.

So pretty!

Getting ready to go into the live butterfly exhibit.

Notice the butterfly on Savannah's head. She was trying to stand so still...she couldn't decide if she liked the butterfly there or if she wanted it to fly away. Luckily though, the butterfly flew away before she officially decided she didn't want it there.

Savannah liked to take her shoes off a lot. Luckily she had her sweet cousin Candace there to put them back on for her :)

Makeover at Sephora! Sorry, Michael and Megan.
Ugh just look how cute she is hahah I love her! I apologize for teaching her a kissy face though :)
We went to Georgetown Cupcake just so we could see the store that we have seen so many times on the TLC show.
They even had a yummy gluten free lava cupcake.. so good!

My cute lunch dates!
Savannah got hot at Charlie's baseball practice.

Just such a stud.
Tourists at the Lincoln.
Tourists at Martin Luther King, Jr.
A quote at his memorial that both Candace and I loved.

Looking through these pictures makes me smile. We had such a good time. Megan, if you're reading this, please give your kids an extra kiss for us. We miss them already!
Love y'all!

oops

Staying in character, I am up much later than I should be when I have a class at 9am tomorrow and a test following that class. I have issues guys. I hate sleep! Anyway, here are my most recent loves.

The TV show Whitney. And the guy on the left. Chris D'elia is my imaginary boyfriend.

Mmm I had to put this on here. Dr. Pepper is my new Fresca. Too good

I guess this technically can't be labelled as a recent love since I loved her for quite some time, but I am currently re-reading this book and I can't stop laughing. Even the second time around I love it.

Yep I jumped on the bandwagon...and we find out who A is next week! AH!

It'd be contradictory if I used words to describe this one....so.....

Okay, I should probably get some sleep. Spring break is much needed...only one more day until I get to spend some quality time with my fam. I can't wait to have a whole week that is completely free of stress from school. Eek! Alright, I love y'all.
Night night :)

good people

We finally had a big snow storm up here in Logan!!!! Ahhh I had been waiting for so long. I love when it is so snowy that you can't see where the sky is or what time it even is. Snow is just so pretty and I feel robbed that I haven't seen it very much this winter. But I am grateful I finally got to play in it for the first time this season (even if it didn't happen until March haha).

Everything else is going great up here, as well. I am so thankful for how everything is working out. I feel good about my major and luckily there is enough time on the side for me to spend with some pretty incredible people. I'm sorry, I know that in every post I am saying how grateful I am for things, but I can't help it. It's too good of a life to not show gratitude along the way.

Here are a few pictures from the week:

Talk to you soon lovelies!

PS remember how I said "I'm sorry" for something stupid up there? I take that back. I promised my dad I'd work on not saying sorry as much. So... not sorry. Bye :)
